We only want to send over a couple of boxes of stuff !
Hi
what are the best options if we've literally just got a couple of brown cardboard box full of stuff we want to take to Oz?
Most of our possessions have been rented out with our house so we've just got clothes we'll take in suitcases and then a couple of normal size boxes of photos, memento's etc..
How much does it cost to ship a couple of boxes over? What is the best way of doing this? Could I do it via the post system by airmail? Or best to ship them?
We're also probably taking my husband's spray guns from his job of spraypainting, but these are fairly small and light.
Thanks
Kelly

We used Excess Baggage to send a few boxes by air-freight. (see link in post above)
It only took a week to arrive (door-to-door delivery).
They do sea-freight as well.

We were pleased with Seven Seas. Considering we were in Aus, the boxes were at a friends in the UK and they needed my signature etc, it all went really smoothly and nothing was damaged.

We have used excess baggage and they were good - 4 days door to door. We have also used we Deliver the world / Fast ttrack couriers (sorry can't remember the website address right now) and they were cheaper and just as good.

great - thanks guys. Any ideas how much I'm roughly looking out to send over a couple of boxes, for example, with the airfreight company?

if you don't mind waiting ( 7 to 8 weeks) or can send your stuff ahead Freedom Shipping are very very reasonable.
