We need a holiday......
 

but where?

We have been here 2 yrs, had a week at Dunk Island mid 2006 (oh I wish OH was still on contracting rate) and it is time for another holiday. Apart from that, the furthest out of Sydney we have been have been has been on day trips to Central Coast, Blue Mountains & Bulli (Nth of Wollongong)

Some info:
2 adults, 16mth & 3yr old
driving distance from Sydney
during term time (should make it cheaper) in the next 2mths.
budget, say $2k (that is accommodation, petrol & food money), maybe a little more if it is a 2wk rather than 1wk break.

Any suggestions of places, accommodation would be gratefully received as a starting point.

Coffs Harbour, we went here several years ago and we found it good for kids, and there's other stuff around the area too.
