Are we in the midst of a cyclone?

Haven't had time to watch TV for last couple of days......... not up to date with long range weather forecast?

Are we in the middle of a cyclone?

It's blowing a bloody gale on top of the hill where we live in Carramar

All the pot plants have blown over and smashed, pop rivets have gone flying from my stock of signs........... fallen tree branches allover the place........can't really see the roof staying intact much longer?

Is it like this anywhere else NOR?

It's a wee bit more than breezy here in Carramar........... never even spotted a yellow alert............ but this fierce wind is something akin to a red alert.

It was more than breezy in the city at 4.30 but it feels twice as strong in Carramar. Maybe the office blocks were shielding us or maybe it is because we are nearer the coast.

Very windy in the Swan Valley too. Am all wrapped up and the house is cosy though:) Glad I'm not working tonight

Just a couple of boisterous back to back cold fronts knocking on your door :-)

Current chart attached.
You have the high pressure on top (anti clockwise wind direction) and the low pressure below it (clockwise wind direction) combining to give you a particularly strong Westerley.

Just weather doing its thing.

Not a Cyclone, but I certainly would not be out flying my paraglider in it ;-)

That'll be the beans ;)

There has been a roof blown off in Wembley Downs and they had a mini tornado apparently.

The weather bods reckon the worst has passed! Hmm not so sure myself.

According to the news tonight some parts of Perth had a wee tornado blowing, sounds a bit like the one we had in the Rockingham area a few weeks back (theres always someone around with bad wind isn`t there!!)

We're 50 metres from the beach and it's blowing like a demented fool.

I've just been to take the bin out and it was wild, wild, wild. Got home from work and a 4 metre high tree had been blown down in our garden.
