Lodged in Oct 03, front loaded Police Checks in Jan 04, front loaded Medicals in Feb 04.
We're still waiting to be assigned a case officer in DIMIA. We've then got to wait to be asked for the $100k bond and then another wait for the visa.
I think that it might be some time yet...

Could I please ask when you usually get an acknowledgement - we sent our appliction off on 13th April under the Skilled Independent State Sponsorship Scheme - we know that it has been received because the payment has been taken from our bank account but we haven't actually received official notification yet.
