WE GOT IT..YEEEEHA (wife diabetic)
Finally after almost a year we got our 136 visa today, We were worried at the outset because my wife is type 1 diabetic, our agent assured us that it would be fine so long as she was otherwise fit and healthy.
When we went for our medicals and they asked her to have extra blood checks + eye test and get a doctors letter, also this part was done through the NHS so no need to go private for the extra blood tests.
Anyway i'm now off to start planning our move.
To all that are still waiting, hang in there it will come soon, for me it was becoming unbearable but came through before pulling out what hair i've got left.

You said you were waiting nearly a year, was that from the time your visa application was lodged, or from TRA?
