we got a response!
we recieved a response from dept. of immi. yesterday, we were so delighted that they have opened our envelope!! At least we know the wheels are in motion. Our application was front end loaded but we are still waiting on police clearance from here, a tad slow in coming. Plus we didnt fill out a settlement form so they asked for that. They have also asked for Steves x-ray plate. Now not sure if this is the norm but he is a smoker & the radiolgist told him that he appeared to have a touch of bronchitis. Although the doctor that did his medical disagreed & said he would say this in his notes. The dept. really really stress not to contact them dont they. Thanks again for advice.

wouldn't worry about them asking for x ray plates, we were told to send them with our meds as they require them.

Thanks, Graham is a smoker ( supposed to be giving up!) and had no problems so sure you will be ok
