Just found out today by phone call from agent that our PR visa has been granted. What a christmas pressent. Its been a long 15 months but now worth it.:thumbsup:

started september last year but got caught up with a 7 month wait to do my vettasses test.then the wait for case officer and instructions for medicals etc.
We had an issue with our son who has had a lot of medical problems in the past so was really worried that we would be refused the visa.
They requested many more reports on him etc and that meant running between many hospitals and also school reports .
got the phone call yesterday morning saying that all is approved BUT!!! they have lost the babies medicals report and they won't let me go to London to collect visas until the medical on baby are re done and faxed to Sydney just to check there are no problems with him. so have had to get that done again today (2 Hour round trip)
There was an issue with me at medicals as I discovered I had high blood pressure and had to get that treated before we could continue.
So It could have been quicker had there not been these problems.
Wanted to give it all up many times and just use what money we had for a bloody good holiday but happy we didn't.
Having a fantastic agent ( Thinking Australia) was well worth the money and would recomend them to any one.
Got sponsor and start working 26 Jan.
