we are auzzies today!
well after 2 1/2 yrs here we became auzzies on the eve of australia day the ceremony was great got presented with our certificates and goody bags from the mayor at the same ceremony the awards for citizen of yr was handed out had a bit of a bash afterwards with a auzzie band playing and young cultural auzzie of the yr reciting bush poetry and had our picture taken by the local newspaper.
and as the mayor said this is the end of our migrants journey and my permanent residency visa has been cancelled. feels a bit weird though supose id better get my passport now
