Just wondered what is an average quarterly bill in Aus for rates, water, electric, phone, gas etc.

I pay $850 a year for rates and $150 pa for water rates on my apartment in Southbank, Melbourne.
Don't know the other costs as yet to move in.

you get billed monthly for phone here - Ours is not very expensive as we use a phonecard to ring Uk. $30 for 700 plus minutes - about 4 cents a minute. Phonebill is about $80 per month but that includes internet. (not very high usage). Electric is
about $160 for 2 months (due to the pool pump). Gas is about $70 for 3 months. Rates about $700 pa. Not sure on water, not had one yet.

Rates $936 per half year. Maroochy Shire.

Electricity, house includes pool pump and filter $317 last quarter.

Phone n/a as we also use it for business so its scary.

Having the paperwork in front of me probably wont stop people calling me a liar!
