Thanks ABC, I had looked at this site before, it seems more like a professional body whose members work in the water industry. A bit like the IWO/WRC/DWI in the UK. What I am looking for is a list of companies who supply and maintain the water infrastructure. Like Scottish Water, Thames Water etc. My search via the net only revealed, websites for SA and WA. Nothing for any of the other states and territories.

I'm not sure if this is what you want but you could have a look at this?

Are we allowed to choose our water companies?
Cheers

For Sydney Water
https://www.sydneywater.com.au/
Here in QLD we pay water to the local councils though, so not sure where you would look, but this may be a start http://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/

SunWater is the main supplier in Qld but it's mainly Qld rather than the SE Qld. Around Brisbane the local councils are the main suppliers and I think Sunwater is a bit player here.
