Watching Live F1 in Aus

In case everyone missed it Channel ten are now actually broadcasting the F1 GP's live with ITV coverage on TEN HD

You need a HD set top box or capable TV, but it is on - just watched the British GP finish it started at 950pm finished at midnight.

Next weekends German GP is on live too at about 930pm I think.

Ch10 did announce they'd do this at start of the year then they didnt - butnow they seem to be actually broadcasting and its bootiful.

Go to http://www.itv-f1.com and follow the link to the live video stream. The live video broadcast starts shorty before the start of the practice sessions, qualifying and the race.

I have no idea if ITV have restricted access to the UK so if it works can someone let me know.

Next race is Sunday 20th, so the video stream will be available on Friday 18th.

If you watched the race today Hamilton was brilliant and it's a shame about Webber after qualifying 2nd.

Its normally UK viewing only.

If you follow this link you can not only get F1, you'll also find all the football, tennis, free pay per view boxing, and cricket. You can access worldwide and its free. All you do is follow the links to your chosen match/race etc and it will ask you to download the sopcast software which takes 5 mins. Once thats done just refresh the page then sit back with a cold one and enjoy.

ITV restrict their F1 streams and video content to UK only. Either use a UK proxy (can be hard to find) or www.racing-underground.com has links to flash streams (no need to download/install extra software).

The quality isn't perfect, but I happily watched Massa spinning his way around Silverstone last night with no interruptions and have watched other races with no problems.

Cheers

Steve
