Default Washing machine recommendations

You may remember a week or so ago my wife (thpinkpussycat) said our washing machine was sick. Well we just found out it is terminal. There is no way we can wait until Aus to buy a new one so we have to buy one here (and soon as I am on my emergency pants already). Does anyone have any useful tips on what is good to take to Aus.

You're not far off!!! The day we flew from Singapore to Sydney I decided to go for a long walk in the searing heat. Betty Swallocks resulted so I bought 3 pairs of Calvin Kleins at the airport. Singapore sizes must be different as you could use them as a tent
