Yes. I need the pound to drop so I can send some Aussie back. Bring on Ed Milliband

I consider it no longer any of my business...but if I was voting, it would be in Dundee East...and based on the way things are going in Scotland these days it'll be returned with a massive SNP majority...so no point!

I need my UK final salary pension to increase in value too. As it's linked to inflation, I need a massive hike in inflation as well as a collapse in currency. So a Labour government could suit me too.

Just so people know, if you've been out of the country/not registered for over 15 years you can't use this online service (Scouse just tried).

Just been informed by my electoral officer that it's probably best to appoint a proxy instead of relying on the post.

The interesting thing is who the hell you could vote for.
Cameron is obviously a dumb idea; not only because of the destruction that the tories customarily dish out, but also because he's been forced into promising a vote on EU membership (and that's only going one way). Talk about jumping off a cliff without a plan.
Milliband hasn't the same baggage, but he's a charisma free zone, and also appears to have no plan.
The SNP seem guaranteed to win scotland, even though they have proved they haven't got a clue about anything, or indeed, a plan.
The others aren't going to get anywhere in a FPTP system, even UKIP don't look likely to win much.
So how could you actually employ a vote usefully? The best option would probably to get an adult elected in a marginal seat - probably a green (not great, but probably the best option out there) and hope that the balance of power (excluding the SNP) is somewhere where sense could be imposed.

Re: Want to vote in UK election?
Would probably have cast a vote for Lib Dems as the only option that will bring sense into any ruling coalition, be it Labour or Tories.
I do agree that Cameron has completely stepped over the line with his silly notion of an EU-vote as a publicity stunt. If the only sensible option is to stay then do you really want to open it up for a propaganda-fuelled free-for-all?
Any entity with an interest in destabilising the EU or the UK itself - with the intention of creating economic, political and social damage to the country - will be pumping funds into such a move. MI5 will have its hands full and will probably need to lasso in the media to prevent the country going over a cliff.
