Mark and Lynn-ann I can give you info on the Brisbane area. At the very least some
pointers in the direction of info <g> What sort of place do you envisage yourselves
in: Cafe society, stroll to the park, close to nightlife/city? Semi-rural - a bit of
acreage to put a horse or two, lots of fruit trees and be at one with nature?
Suburban family- big house with lots of good schools/shops/transport/nice neighbours?
????? LJ (off on holidays to England in April, but I'll be back!!)

Great to hear from someone that knows Brisbane. We would like semi-rural with small acreage. We live in the country at the moment and would love lots of space. Looking at Fernvale, Rosewood but be guided by someone in the know. Please let us know what you think? Cheers.

Aren't they out past Ipswich??? If they're the places I'm thinking of, that'd be a
long drive to Brisbane. Would you be working? Kids that need schooling or university?
E-mail me if you don't want to post your family history!!
If I wanted sem-rural (which I dream about sometimes!) I'd probably be looking to the
Sunshine Coast hinterland, or Northern New South Wales, with the advantages of beach
access as well as land.
But...Preparing for bushfire season, just the idea of snakes in the house, and
isolation are other things that'll probably keep this little bunny in the city.
