Want to settle in Perth

:) Hi my husband and I are in the process of putting together information for TRA. We are hoping to get into Perth on the new SIR Visa as the points have now gone to 120 we do not qualify with only 115!

WA involvement in SIR still very vague but our agent tells us that they are getting involved. Have to live outside metropolitan area. Area we are looking at is Mandurah. Any info on this area or on SIR visa or immigration in general would be helpful.

Just reading some of the posting already on has helped a lot. Also made me realise it can be long and nerve wracking experience!

Welcome to the forum.

There is so much brilliant information on this forum and on the immigration forum from people at all stages of the immigration process to those living in Oz long and short term.

The best thing to do is type a key word such as 'Mandurah' into the search function at the top of the Oz/NZ page to get you started. If you then have any more specific question post them and people will be more than happy to reply.

Thanks for your reply and help, I am sure I will get more used to it as I use it more, which I am sure will be a lot over the next couple of years!!
