It would be the wrong move if someone has to sell it too you mate.

Care too dwell more on why you feel the need to move from Perth?

Brisbane is not for us but neither snakes nor toads came into any reasoning to turn the place down. (Estate agents/car dealers and politicians can be found in all states)

Red face Re: want to move to brissie

A friend of ours was talking about brisbane this is what started us thinking about it we wanted to move to a bigger house here but prices are going crazy. We like the idea of being closer to other cities so that we can see some of australia i love australia and would not want to go back to the uk perth is very isolated Maybe sell was the wrong word to use.

I think I can understand your motivation - you need to consider

- Employment (both opportunites and remuneration)
- Is the cost of moving going to erode a chance to get a bigger home? in similar standard area or slighty less desirable?
- Other alternatives? (Melbourne or Sydney, or Cairns)
- Renovate existing house?
- Are there other reasons giving you itcy feet?
- Sit it out until the market turns? If you are trading up - if your place drops by 10% so too would a bigger home but compare 10% on $600K to 10% on $800K ($60K v $80K bringing you $20K up).
