WA Salvage Closing Down!
 

Perthites, you've seen the ads on telly, it's quite unequivocal, WA Salvage is closing for good!

Seeing as you can get away with any old lie in TV advertising I'm fully confident WA Salvage will be here for as long as there are mugs to buy their cheap Chinese crap.

So, WA Salvage closing for good - genuine, or just another TV advertising lie?

I think so, they've aparently sold a few warehouses off to bunnings(Malaga branch for example), they're just closing some down(I think they've done that with the wangara one) and then the rest are becoming homeworks or houseworks or something. They now just do the housey things, they've tried to make it a bit like ikea i think, cept a WA Salvage version! :)

Sure does, my mother in law will be gutted when she next comes over, she used to love a rummage through WA Salvage! It's not that sort of place anymore.

Id heard that Wesfarmers had sold of WA Salvage as they no longer wanted them part of the group, something to do with Bunnings and product lines etc not being complimentary....
So the end result will be no WA Salvage, but even more cheap chinese shit being sold in Bunnings at about 20% more than it was formerly being sold at in WA Salvage....
