WA - changing driving licence over within 3 months

do you know what happens in WA if we miss the 3 months deadline!?

We didnt change ours over for well over 12months, nothing happens when you go in to change it to a WA one, they just do it without question.
The problem would be if you got stopped by the police and they queried why you didnt have a WA licence after being here so long, not sure if its a fineable (sp?) offence.
The other problem would be with insurance, unlikely your insurance company would pay out if you tried to claim.

our 3 months is up today so we can only really do it on monday - so only a few days out...

will drive carefully this w/e!!

mate i missed it,i had to let one of the ladies in the center do naughty things to me...

but i got it in the end...
