VPN to access iPlayer on a Mac & iPad?
Anyone found a good reliable service? I've tried Tunnelbear but it cranks speeds down to a standstill so is useless.

Astrill, perfect, all round.. Just make sure you add "open vpn" to the service for the mac.

Unblock US - works differently, not a VPN but a DNS - much easier to set up and good for a host of UK and US sites

would also recommend strong vpn - works fine on my mac too

Presumably for Strong VPN I'd need the Open VPN set up?

I have the annual account at $69 or thereabouts. The server I am on is one of the several in the uk and I use it when I logon to iplayer. Make sure that vpn is connected is on before you visit iplayer or when you try and play your stuff without engaging the vpn, iplayer will register an error and delete your download - not good!
