Default Voting in General Elections

Hi all

We're here on a 457 and have been for the past year or so. Any ideas how we go about casting our votes in the upcoming UK elections? I'm presuming we can do it electronically in this day and age but can anyone give us an insight as to how it is done?

Nope, still have to go old fashioned and do a postal or proxy vote... And get onto it quickly, a quick google will find the forms

here is the link to register...

the timeline seems a bit tight and i decided not to register and that it wasnt fair seeing as i dont actually live there or intend to live there in the lifetime of the next parliament.

I was going to register this time, but you have to do it by April 20th, and the form has to be signed by a British passport holder NOT living in the UK. The daft thing is that even though I'm on holiday back here, surrounded by Brits, no-one here can sign the form for me, so I can't register!!
