Default Visa, Visa, Visa and driving license

Hi All
I am an Aussie living in the UK, I take it my wife can apply for a spouse visa (Permanent), what about her daughter(9), does dhe go on the same application, or separate.
Also does she need to have the medicals including the x-ray and police check?

Does anybody know what the score is with driving in Oz (Vic) do you have to take the driving test or it is just the written know

Regards
Glenn

Im going through similar myself. My daughter is 8 and will have to have medicals though shes not migrating to Oz. They dont do a police check and X-ray for kids that age.

As you have been together over 5 years (2 years with children) (I presume the daughter is yours) your spouse is eligible for a permanent spouse visa as long as she meets the health and character requirements. I do not know if your daughter is a citizen by decent or not.

If she is not classed as an Aussie citizen then she has to be included in the application.

Please read booklet 1127 on www.immi.gov.au/allforms and hopefully most of the process will become clearer.

I converted my UK license to a NSW license by taking a computer based knowledge test.

I am sure someone living in victoria will post up the state's requirments or a link to their transport authority.

the NSW one is www.rta.nsw.gov.au .
