Visa Sponsorship - Questions

Visa Sponsorship - Questions
Hello again,
I have just sent of my Hairdresser application to TRA in Adelaide but have a few questions if someone would be kind enough to help me with.
I am aware that it might take up to a year (or more!) to finally get my Permanant visa...seems like forever. I have a husband and two young children with 18 years experience in all aspects of Hairdressing including salon management.
One avenue I have been offered is by being sponsored by an Australian Hair Salon based in Queensland. They have offered to sponsor me which enables a quick route through the visa process, however there are drawbacks !!!
I am obliged to stay in their full time employment for 3 years which is a little unsettling:
- what happens if we fall out or I don't like my working enviroment ?
- would my visa be revoked ?
- if I left the job and became a stay at home mum and my husband was in full time employment would they check up to see if I was fullfilling my visa obligation and send me back into another salon ?
Basically I am worried that if I go the sponsorship route with this salon that I might not settle in the salon and leave only to have my visa revoked even when my husband is working and kids in school.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks

Hi there,
I am currently looking for sponsorship and I'm finding it so hard... any tips you can give me on finding a salon that will sponsor?
From what I understand, that should your employer end the sponsorship you need to contact imm in australia. they will give you the option to find another sponsor or failing that you could be depported.
you can change sponsorship but you have to lodge another one pretty quick.
Any salons you know of that need hairdressers?
I have my family coming with me, my husband and 2 children.
keep me posted where you intend to go!!

Re: Visa Sponsorship - Questions
If I am correct Molly is talking about an ENS visa and Cheryl a 457 visa.
These are totally different visas.
ENS is PR.
457 is temp.

Cheryl,
Check out this forum which is especially for hairdressers and they will offer advice........
http://britishexpats.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=81
If you can qualify for a skilled PR visa I would suggest you do that even if it means waiting a little longer.
Hairdressers were on the list of skills in shortage so I believe the visas used to be fast-tracked but check that on the forum.

Molly,
Certainly under ENS 3 years is the timeframe "expected" but I am not sure when it comes to it if it is a "compulsory" thing.
Have you checked the ENS reuirements in DIMIA booklet 5 ?
Not sure they will cover that point in sufficient detail for you though.
