Default visa/recruitment/sunshine coast

Dear all. I am visitng eudlo/sunshine coast in june on a working holiday visa. the dmif said it would take 2 days to process, yet i have heard nothing..it was applied for on the 19th, does anyone know where i can check timescales as the automated telephone service costs a £1 an hr! also anyone know of any recruitment agencies for temp work in that area, rough salary guidelines and where i can buy backpacker discount cards, and which are the best?

Lots of questions from a young person new to Auz!

Hi, I'm from the Sunshine Coast, Eudlo is a bit out of the way in the sticks!! I haven't been home for a couple of years but from memory go to Centrelink as they have the computers with available jobs on them. I'm not sure of the nearest one to Eudlo is, you may have to look it up. There is also another agency that was at the Sunshine Plaza (shopping centre), next to the bank. I can't remember what it was called now... Although, all this depends on what type of work you are doing too, as there is another agency called Manpower they are for more labouring construction work. Also go on to the internet and look on www.seek.com.au. Any other q's about the sunny coast I will be happy to help...

Ok, a couple of hints - having read all your posts reuesting ANSWERS!! Firstly, try PATIENCE!!! Stuff like where to buy cards on the Sunshine Coast will mainly be answered by those in Aus, and except for idiots like me, they are all in bed!!! Recruitment agencies likewise - you are more likely to get answers when people wake up!
Its no good asking in a new thread why "no-one is answering" cos they need the original thread!
Your post about the skills visa for business analyst I can't answer, but if you wait a while I'm sure someone out there will know.

Good luck - I know its stressful, but a vital part of the visa process is learning to be patient - if you do go for a skills visa it can take over a year......
