Visa query
Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone can answer my question about visas.
We're applying for PR to Oz and have recently been asked for our medicals and police checks. My question is how long does it take for your visa to be granted after you've got your medicals and police checks.
Also I know that you have a year to enter the country once you've got your visas but can anyone tell me when this year starts. Is it from the date you went for your medicals or when Oz house receives them.?

It took 5 weeks btwn submitting my police/medicals and getting approval of the visa. If you go to www.austimeline.com you can search on your visa category and location to get a good idea.
The time frame for entering begins when your visa is granted, I believe.
