Hi guys, this is a great board!

I have applied for Oz migration and I took my medical in November 2001. I am expecting the Permanent Residence visa soon. I know the medical only lasts a year, which means I would have to go to Oz before November 2002. However, due to circumstances I might not be able to make this date. Can I retake my medical and then go to Oz next year on the same visa?

You would have to tell your case officer before visa grant that you want to re-take
you medical.

Why did you do your medical before it was asked for anyhow?

Your other option of course is simply to take a short holiday in Australia before the
first entry date (Nov 02) to validate your visa and then you will have some time to
make the move proper afterwards.
