Default visa granted whilst co on holiday?

please, somebody tell me there's a chance of this happening. 4 weeks ago the co said we would hear in 2 - 3 weeks. 1 week ago she went on holiday til 17/7. has anybody had their visa granted whilst their co has been on holiday? email says, 'please be assured that departures will be handled by other case officers ...'.
