Visa granted! What now???
Sorry - I bet this has been asked a gazillion times but I can't find what I am looking for.....
Now that we have finally had our visa's granted, I have NO idea what to do... I know the general (and terrifying stuff) like attempt to sell the house, car, possessions, look out birth certificates, immunisations etc and all that but things that I had no idea about (because I was so busy doing the "getting the visa" part that I forgot about the "when you get the visa" part) are giving me sleepless nights... Like tax forms, what to do with shares, bank accounts, credit cards blah blah.
Any advice from those going through it/been through it? The only advice I have had so far is "ohhhhhh - this is the worst part... Get a pen and paper and start making lists" but lists of what???? I don't know what I am doing and am really freaking out.
I also feel really alone and down just now cos my other half is having to work 7 days a week and physically can't help just now. We have still to tell a lot of people we are even thinking of going to Australia so sorry if the post is a big huge rant...
Best of luck to everyone else at every stage. It is a big stress... Hopefully worth it in the end...
