Default Visa cancelled/superannuation

Hi all.

I've been told that if I don't return to Aus by next month, my visa will expire and I have to prove substantial ties if I want to return. I have no ties at all over there, so I guess my visa is gone.

What I'm curious about is will I be able to get back the super that i paid in the few years I was working there? It won't be a lot but better in my pocket than theirs, however much it is!

Cheers,

Kieron

If you paid into superannuation while holding an eligible temporary visa - maybe.

Otherwise - no. However, it's still yours, just stuck in Australia.
