visa application from Aus and Clearance from UK
 

Hi all,

I am currently in the US, getting ready to leave for Sydney in a few days on a holiday visa, where I will be applying for a defacto partner visa. The problem is I need police clearance from Ireland and the UK, and they (well, definitely the UK) require original documents as proof of identity, and something with my current address on it (utility bill). I can send my UK driving license as identity proof but but what about proof of address? Is it possible to open a bank account or something official on a holiday visa?
