VISA 173 Please, is anyone applying for a 173 at the moment, or has just received one, approx how long did it take, do you have any useful info?

The processing time for Contributory Parent visas is typically between 10 and 12 months presently; the 173 subclass is the temporary version of the CP visa and usually takes less time to finalise as it doesn't involve an Assurance of Support.

Thankyou for your quick response, things are now becoming much clearer. (I am still waiting for that agent 'Lorraine' to get in touch, as promised on 17th Aug.) Kind Regards Lin
