Oh crikey, poor thing. Terrible timing. Sure they can give her some painkillers though. Those sorts of drugs are mostly only dangerous in the third trimester as they depress the baby's breathing.

Oh OW. Speedy recovery and as for pain relief paracetamol is fine as is a paracetamol and codeine pain killer (Panadeine here not sure in UK). Arnica cream is ok too in pregnancy to bring out any bruising and help recovery. I know it's all ok as i'm a Midwife

Ouch - karma on its way!
I am 25 1/2 wks pregant & can totally sympathise...... I broke my big toe at 20 wks & it is still killing me but as you are aware - no xrays, no pain reflief with the exception of paracetamol.

Yikes! Poor lady

Big hugs to the brave lady. My lady is pregnant too so I`d better ask her to be careful in the bath when having a shower, especially as we fly out in a few weeks. Were you there when it happened??
