Are Virgin Going to start Flying to Oz??
Has anyone else heard that Virgin will start flying to OZ? If so does anyone know when this is likely to be?

when I was there at xmas Branson was in Aus as well Byron Bay and on the news they were speaking about Virgin flying London Sydney not sure about anywhere else try www.virgin.com

Had a look on the website, couldnt see anything about flights TO Oz..............only virginblue.................or am I not looking properly?

It has no definate dates for Virgin to go to Oz but just says summer 2004.
It also has a good article that QANTAS will be flying direct from LA to Brissie from 14th June 2004.
So thats good news for people who intend going via US as at the moment I think we have to go via Auckland or Sydney.
If you go to the main part of the site it gives good run downs on the services operated by the airlines who go to Oz (Singapore, BA, QANTAS, Thai etc).

Maybe they will start using their own planes.
Can't see that it's much to get excited about though
