Received our pre grant letter today, our visa was granted on 18th Feb.

Aspc received all documents by 12th Feb, they seem to be working pretty quick now.

45 weeks in total (139 skilled independant).

Just waiting for exchange on our property now.

Thanks for this, we are at about 30 weeks, which is why we got our meds done un-requested, took a chance !!! and putting house on the market at end of March - decided we'd rather be homeless ( or living at Outlaws - blimey must be mad) than have the agony of the house not selling. May have to sell anyway if Woz doesn't get a J O B !!!

Did read on here a while back that sponsored ones take longer, due to the fact that they have to check out all rel's paperwork - so who knows ? in the crazy world of Immigration anything can happen.

Sorry should have been clearer, ours isn't Designated Area it's Oz sponsored - which makes a difference I believe - as the designated area is were you have to settle and were the skills shortage maybe - but I can live in hope.

We are going 139 visa designated area spon, i am led to believe that these are taking as little as four months as they are priority tested!
Well we will see our appli. is going in next week and the countdown conundrum will begin
