Victorian drivers licence
Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but you now don't need to take any kind of test to get a Vic drivers licence if you have a full UK licence. It used to be that permanent residents with a full UK licence had to take a multiple choice test, but not any longer see www.vicroads.vic.gov.au
You still have to obtain a Vic licence within your first 3 months of arrival as a PR though.

This is also the case now (from January I think) for NSW - I'm pleased to say!!
