Hi, just wondering if anyone lives at Victoria point? What's it like?

Ive just spent 2 weeks staying in Raby Bay and was really impressed with the area. Normally we stay CBD but due to G20 moved out. We'll be back! Also lots of colleagues live in that general area and swear by it.

So cant offer specific advise but equally have no bad reports.

Vikky point is an up and coming area which has been growing with new housing shops , Doctors, Chemists, eateries, cinema etc. Housing is reasonably priced with some good schools in the area (mainly private). the down sides is the distance to commute to the CBD as well as the fact that there is only a bus service to connect it to Cleveland (which is the end of the train line). Hence 2 cars are de rigueur, with the associated running costs.

If you are looking at other options Raby Bay, Ormiston, Wellington Point et alia may be better options as they also have the same schools close by , shops in the vicinity but are also connected to the city via the Cleveland train line.

As a more up market option Bulimba is very nice but I think that the price of houses will drop once the second airport runway Is put in.....(ie in a direct line with Bulimba).
