Hi, im wondering if you can help me with this issue.
I`vve been reading vetassess page (FAQ) but they dont answer me what the AQF level degree is. I`ve a 3 years diploma degree and i want to be assess to marketing specialist. But they put in that if I´ve a 3 year degree i need and AQF level degree.
What that AQF?

AQF = Australian Qualifications Framework.

Is your qualification equivalent to an Australian bachelors degree? That's a must-have for a 50 point skill assessment from Vetassess.

Qualifications have different names in different countries. Vetassess will look at the guidelines for your country to see what that particular qualification equates to.

they wont tell you if your qual equates to anything, I know I have asked!
I have a foundation degree = a diploma (I think)

they assessed me on a computer studies certificate Btec
they didn't even use my degree.

just a word from the wise who has already been there and done this recenly

But still I`ve no straight answer to my problem.
This is what i read, and i`ve ask vetassess for an explanation but they haven´t tell me yet.

No, not on its own. To meet the requirements of a 50 point occupation you must have at least an AQF Diploma level qualification, and you must provide all the necessary documents relating to that qualification in addition to those of the Graduate Diploma.

what is an AQF diploma level qualification? Do I need a master? An specialization? I dont undestand why vetassess dont say things straight.

In assesment from ppl all over the world, studying and having passed degrees diplomas and the like, the pre requisite is:

Your skill or qualification must closely match, be equivalent to or greater than the Australian Equivalent . HENCE AN aqf !

YEAH javierlarosa your asking people to give you information on what we know on a forum, I am sorry that I can't answer your question straight out but I think it is rude of you for me to do so. I asked Vetassess and they will not give you a straight answer because they want paying for it. Pay for it and you will have your straight answer, there's your answer.

this forum is only intended for day to day chat and advice on stuff from people who have been there, like JAJ says get advice and pay for hat as well

Im sorry if you take it like that, my english is not very good cuz i haven´t speak it for 4 years, and am not quite sure the writing expressions, well about the straight answer was because i dont know why cant vetassess answer direct question... Because "I think" that like customer we deserve the right to ask as many questions to have our marks pass. Well thats what i supposed, maybe im wrong.
Anyways who can I talk with or write to? an agent? Becasuse i have just 1 question but seems that im not going to get it until I apply for the asessment.
Maybe... you can advise me with this:
I have a 3 year degree (advanced diploma), but for marketing specialist (50 points) im requiring a bachelor degree. but in the FAQ they said that despite the advanced diploma I need a AQF diploma level. Thats means that I have to get a master (1 to 2 year study) or a specialist diploma (5 to 12 months study)

Hi sorry about that,
right I spoke to the Vetassess and they said that in order to claim 50 points (Graphic Design) I would need an equivalent to an AQF and Australian degree. Now they told me that a British Degree is the same as an Australian Degree. The guy to ask is called Glenn and his email is [email protected]
he can advise you better than anyone I know, he advised me, it costs nothing to e-mail him! I have an advanced diploma but it is still only an advanced diploma in Australia
