Sure is blowing and raining down here Polly, the plant pots have just gone over and the pets are well spooked!

The wind really does get up quick when it wants to, incredible, from calm-ish to horizontal rain in the blink of an eye ... I prefer the lightning on balance but I can see the value of more rain if we are gonna run out of water in 25 years

More imported beer required! Seriously though, hope everyone around these parts is safe and anyone in Ipswich has their power back finally

Just checked the boating conitions for tomorrow (Australia Day), its not looking good...
Wednesday: SE winds 25/35 knots. Seas to 3.2 metres on a 2.5 metre SE/E swell. Rain and showers

Guess it'll be the pub to watch the Cockroach racing then instead :scared:

5.15pm update... can read it all here...Cyclone Update but basically comes down to this
"As the heaviest rain and strongest winds should remain offshore, the Severe
Weather Warning has been CANCELLED."

Phew! Lets hope it doesn't change course again.
Still not likely to be boating weather though.
