Validating Visa - Main applicant only

So, I am the main app, can I go to Oz on my own and validate my 138 visa, without my boyfriend, who is the spouse/dependent? If I validate mine, is his validated too, or will he have go to Oz before the date allocated on the visa grant email. Hope this makes sense to someone!!

Hello

I am the main applicant and yes you can go on your own however as you mentioned he will need to go out before the date on the visa. I asked the same Q to my migration agent.

Yes you both need to validate, either together or separately, in which you must enter Australia before him.

As far as I knew, all persons named on the visa must enter by the validation date.

My email from DIMIA says.......""Granted visa/s have the condition that at least an initial entry to Australia is made by ALL applicants by no later than XX/XX/2007
