Default validating visa

This may sound mad 'don't ask' but can you just fly in and fly back out to validate your visa or do you have to stay in oz for a day or two :curse:
Any comments please

I think to validate it is just a case of passing through immigration at the airport so technically yes I think you could fly in then jump straight on another flight back to the UK.

Seems an awful waste though!

If you want to, you can fly in, go through Immigration, and then go straight to the check-in desk and fly out on the next flight At least that way you don't get jetlag from tryign to adapt to new time-zones!
