valid work experience
Hello everyone!
This is the first time I am posting a question here.
I will soon be lodging my application for a general skilled visa. I am
an electrical engineer and have 1.5 years experience as an engineer, full-time. Right before that I worked for 2 years at a different company as a student, as a part-time electrical engineer. As a student I was required to work at least 20 hours a week (and usually worked a lot more than that).
In order to reach the pass mark I need the "work experience" points - 10 points for work experience in my occupation during 3 of the last 4 years. It seems to me that I have 3.5 years of experience.
I am counting on my experience as a student, in addition to my experience as an engineer, so I can get these 10 points.
My question is will the immigration authorities accept my work experience as a student as valid work experience?
Should the document supplied by the company I worked for as a student, state that I worked 20 hours a week?
Thanks in advance

Hi Sia and welcome to the forum.
I would say that your question would be better suited on the Immigration Forum.
That forum is designed for questions such as yours.
Have you had your skills assesed yet?
