I have bought a laptop for use in OZ and the apartment has dial up connection, the only problem is what lead do i need to plug into the phone socket or adapter.
Has anyone bought or done this already and can help me out where to buy one from. We fly out next thursday so not long to get organised now.

You can buy them in the shop, but basically there is an older style and a new one depending on your place.

You can buy them in tandy or dick smith. The newer one is a rj12 at both ends and you might have it already.

The Bloke

Ordinary telephone lead(Australian). You can take it out of the phone if you want. You will need to signup with dialup provider or buy a disc(prepaid)-can be topped up like mobiles.
