Using a Blackberry Bold out in Oz?

Hi Guys

I have recently bought a Blackberry Bold and presently have a contract with Orange here in the UK.

Can I still use it out in Australia please? If so, do I just need to buy another sim or contract when I get out there?

Or would I be better selling my phone here in the UK and getting a new one when I come out to Perth?
