Hello everyone,

I am planning to move to Australia this year. I would like to know the usefulness of Cisco Certifications (CCNA,CCNP) in job search. Which state would be a best choice for an engineer having these certs done? I would appreciate views from all of you. Thank you.

Australian employers love local experience, I have worked for a major OEM fo many years as a high end consultant, but in the end I think my certification (easy to get) helped me to get my job more. As to which state, pretty much the same for any IT job, i.e.

1: NSW
2: VIC
3: QLD
4,5,6: Not much to choose between them, no computers in TAS AFAIK

certifications like cisco and microsoft are just as essential in aus as they are in the uk

they are listed by employers in job adverts and are needed to get the interview

as for which state, thats entirely up to you, use the search option on this site as theres been a million threads on each city
