I see that Qantas have now bought the quantus website.

I always thought it was spelt "Quantas" for some reason, and I must be one of many, so much so, for them to have got the www.quantas.com.au site and linked it to their one.

Some useful links, i'll add them to a list I am building up.

I have found this website really good for researching the suburbs as you can get quite detailed info for each suburb plus a map etc

If you go into a particular suburb and call up the REIQ info
for that suburb it gives median house prices etc for that suburb

Also if you go onto this website:

http://www.property.com.au/real_esta...rch/index.html

and call up houses for a particular suburb you can get an area
profile for that area (but only for certain estate agents)
this shows you such things as house occupancy/demographics/
median wages etc

Also quite useful when looking at areas.

Im sure a lot of people think quite wrongly creating and building a website database is fairly simple and cheap. Ive been doing commercial websites for our business for a number of years.

This site along with 10 other that are planned will break even if we are lucky. !

I dont employ anyone on these sites, i do all the work myself, and in my spare time. My wife works full time, we run a flooring business have 3 kids and 4 dogs, just lost STNI visa , turned down for melbourne.

And to be honest I began the sites just to provide a referral point for ourselves and keep all the links we are looking for in one place. Also it made sense to share this info unreservedly with friends on here.

In life as you are aware there are watchers and dooers, and im a dooer...

So if and i mean IF you would like to help, then its not just helping me its helping everyone and yourself.!! and what better reward can one get than thinking wow that cost nothing but means everything !!


WORTHY i believe.

Having coded 18 pages on snakes indigenous to Australia yesterday, and researching the snakes, i launched via upload these pages so they were live !! my 12 yr old son walked in and said dad, isnt it called Brisbane-Bound i said YES AND !!! he said well why have you spelled it Brisbane-Boune !! arghhhhhhhhhhh

I had to re do all titles and links which with crosslinking was about 400 hyperlinks ! not a quick task lolol

I have done quite a lot of research on suburbs and schools,
but a lot of it is mainly figures such as median house prices etc
I have also done distances from Brisbane CBD.

If you think you'd like this PM me and then I send it too you.

I couldn't put the whole spreadsheet on the site (though I
put a smaller version) as you can't attach Excel spreadsheets
to a post, do you know if you can attach them to an e-mail?
