URGENT HELP please - Australian Tax on UK Income - question
I'm sure this has been asked and answered beofre but Search didn't provide the exact clarity I had hoped for. Hopefully someone else can help...
If we are on a 457 Temp Visa, and had a small amount of GBP income from the rental of our house in the UK (net, after deductions) is this taxed in Australia. I've heard conflicting arguments that as worldwide income it would be taxed but then others stating that as a temporary resident on a 457 I would not.
Urgent clarity would be greatly appreciated.
