Update from Stella!!!!

Update from Stella!!!!
Another week ended! For some reason I am always pleased to see a Friday, but having not worked now for some 5 months everyday could be a Friday for me I guess 
Well, that might come to an end soon.
I applied for a TAFE job and after 16 odd pages answering five selection criteria I received a positive email last week from the person who would manage the position. He actually emailed me on a Saturday to say my application had stopped him in his tracks and that in addition to this job I applied for there is another position not yet advertised that he thinks I can do. This other position pays $30k more than the advertised one, which was a good salary also. So had a chat with him on Monday about that and it all looks positive. It is basically going into businesses and training them in various aspects.
So today I interviewed for the position I applied for, and he basically said that one way or another I would be there. Just waiting for the background check to go through.
So maybe Stella will be leaving midday tv and getting back into the workforce. This makes Bert very happy, as if it all gets to much for him he can quit for a while and be a man of leisure (he is pondering just how much golf you can undertake before tiring of it!).
So fingers crossed something comes of it. Trying not to get hopes up too much....
Off to race Bert on PG3 on the new xbox. Got a glass of bubbles in me already so a bit of drink driving I fear coming up!!!!

Hey thanks Hutch!
Funny thing happened yesterday - Bert showed me a plush toy of the bunny in Wallace and Grommit Wererabbit film - he is sooo cute! And his name is Hutch! I thought of you when he showed it to me.... how does Expats get into your head like this! $15.50 tho - so passed him up...
