an update from the southern Darling Downs...
Hi All,
Haven't posted for a while, so thought I'd do a quick update.
Our container arrived 2 weeks ago, which was fab, but we did suffer some breakages in one box only (bugger! and it was a few bits of Denby that got broke!). Am currently in the process of trying to claim off our insurers in London. We used Allied Pickfords as our movers, and they were fine, apart from the small amount of damage to the one box, everything else, including some fine glassware, arrived intact and when they said it would.
We now have a new car (Subaru) and hubby is chuffed to bits as he's always wanted one...
Hubby has a job, which he's getting use to, but I'm still struggling to find work, which is driving me slightly bonkers.
Apart from that, we're fine, Hubby is getting used to life here, I'm slowly blending back in, but I still sound really British - can't see my Aussie accent returning in a hurry!
take care

Gald to see everything is slotting into place, you will get a job soon so just enjoy the time you have not working.
Hugs
