Try the Australian Workers Union as a start...

Australian Workers Union does not cover these industries.
TRY>>>>

Australian Building Construction Employees and Builders Labourers Federation(maybe)

www.blfq.org
This is for Queensland but may give you a lead to other states.

May have more luck with.......

Construction, Forestry and Mining Energy Union(more likely).

www.cmfeu.asn.au

Would definately need to do a Site Safety Course before they would let you start work. Even delivery drivers delivering to site need to do this course before being allowed there now. BLF or CMFEU would be able to supply details.

Best of luck with the job.
