Hi. We arrive in Perth on 4th Dec, and wondering how long to book temp accommodation for. If we do 4 weeks, we'll have to be out xmas eve - not idea with two young kiddies. Trouble is i'm struggling to get anywhere, and wondered how feasible it was to get unfurnished rental within a week or two of landing? we're also having to pay for storage of our stuff, so the longer we delay getting unfurnished the more it will cost.

What would you do in our position? Book furnished until mid-jan, or just book for a fortnight in Dec, and hope to be in??

Would welcome any thoughts.

Just booked furnished rental in Mandurah for 5 weeks in January as everyone (in Perth) have said how hard it is to get rentals. 10 - 12 people applying at one time etc and with 3 kids did not want pressure.
