Uk wireless connection - can it be used in Oz??
Hullo again,
My hubbie wants to know if our wireless Netgear equipment will work out in Oz. Just wondered as if it doesn't we'll get it on Ebay!!!!

carnt see any reason why it wouldnt as all wireless routers etc use iether usb or rj45 connectors so there all pretty much standardised
you will of course need the relevant aussie modem / broadband connection

Yes, I bought our Belkin wireless gear out and it's fine.

We'll just buy an ozzie modem cabel once we're out there.
Hopefully things have changed and there's more competition with the broadband companies. When I was last out there in 2002 it was Telstra or one other comapny!! Not much choice, so hopefully that's all changed now.
